This course is divided into two key units:
Unit 1: Myth Busting and Information
This unit addresses common misconceptions about medicinal cannabis, focusing on its safety, efficacy, and legal considerations. Participants will learn about the therapeutic components of cannabis, such as THC and CBD, and their roles in managing chronic pain, anxiety, insomnia, and other ailments. Practical dosing strategies and patient safety are emphasized to ensure responsible use.
Unit 2: Patient Cases and Common Ailments
In this unit, participants will explore real-life patient cases involving the use of medicinal cannabis for common conditions like chronic pain, nausea, and sleep disorders. Through detailed case studies, the unit provides practical applications of cannabis treatment, including how to evaluate patients, determine appropriate dosages, and monitor treatment outcomes.
This course equips clinicians with the knowledge to effectively integrate medicinal cannabis into their practice, improving patient care and symptom management.
