The NCSP bundle is a series of five evidence-based eLearning modules designed to support health professionals in delivering high-quality cervical screening care. Developed by the Australian Centre for the Prevention of Cervical Cancer (ACPCC) in collaboration with the Department of Health, these modules are suitable for GPs, nurses, and other healthcare providers with an interest in cervical screening. 

The first module provides a broad overview of cervical cancer, human papillomavirus, cervical anatomy, and how we can eliminate cervical cancer through primary and secondary prevention strategies.

Learning Outcomes

1. Identify the anatomical features of the female pelvis and cervix that are relevant to cervical screening
2. Identify the link between human papillomavirus (HPV), cervical cell abnormalities and the development of cervical cancer
3. Identify primary and secondary prevention of cervical cancer strategies, and their role in the elimination of cervical cancer as a public health problem
4. Outline the cervical screening options available in the current National Cervical Screening Program guidelines.
