Assessment and Management of Lower Limb Pain

Description

A learning module for doctors wanting to boost their skills and confidence in managing lower limb pain. It is the fourth of four modules being offered by the Australian Association of Musculoskeletal Medicine. The modules can be taken independently and in any order, but all four modules must be successfully completed to be awarded the certificate.

This course will be followed by a one-day course "injection therapies for lower limb pain" the following day on Sunday 9 august 2026.


Learning Outcomes

  1. Refine your physical examination skills and understand your findings
  2. Target and interpret investigations
  3. Make a specific diagnosis leading to effective treatment
  4. Perform basic manual therapy and trigger point injections in your office
  5. Prescribe appropriate exercises and medication.
