Led by Prof Nicholas Wood, Dr Anita Muñoz and Sara Drew, this program is designed to support clinicians to implement recent changes to Australia’s National Immunisation Program in everyday practice. The course examines PCV20 and the changing pneumococcal landscape, maternal RSV immunisation, contemporary influenza recommendations and integrated respiratory protection across pregnancy, infancy and early childhood.
Expert presentations and case-based discussion will address patient eligibility, routine and catch-up vaccination, use of the Australian Immunisation Register, incomplete vaccination records, children with additional respiratory risk factors, parental questions and vaccine hesitancy.
