Finding accredited CPD
Psychotropic drugs — antipsychotic, antidepressant, psychostimulant, anxiolytic, and sedative and hypnotic agents — can be prescribed for children and adolescents with mental disorders, including schizophrenia, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism, depression, and anxiety. Although psychotropic drugs can benefit children and adolescents with mental disorders, their efficacy and safety in young people is debated.
