A Guide to Testosterone in Menopausal Women

Description

Australia’s leading experts will discuss the evidence, describe their clinical experience and provide practical advice on how best to apply testosterone therapy for menopausal women. For many years it has been mooted that not all menopausal symptoms are caused by lack of oestrogen alone. Testosterone therapy in women has been proven to improve sexual desire in carefully selected patients. It is a valid treatment in those who are distressed by their lack of sexual desire where there is no other cause obvious for this. How, what, where and in whom are the challenges faced by treating clinicians.
