In this interview, Dr Vida Viliunas and Dr Yasmin Endlich discuss the role of ANZTADC (Australian and New Zealand Tripartite Anaesthetic Data Committee) and functions of WebAIRS (anaesthetic incident reporting system).

1. Understand the role of the Australian and New Zealand Tripartite Anaesthetic Data Committee (ANZTADC), represented and funded by three organisations, the Australian Society of Anaesthetists, the New Zealand Society of Anaesthetists and the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists
2. Appreciate the functions of the web based anaesthetic incident reporting system (WebAIRS)
3. Recognise how the program can assist anaesthetists regarding anaesthetic incidents and how the reported data are used for quality improvement and patient safety.
