Finding accredited CPD
This study review summarises recently updated atopic dermatitis (AD; eczema) guidelines to provide evidence-based recommendations about the optimal management of AD in infants, children, and adults. These guidelines were developed by a multidisciplinary guideline panel consisting of patients and caregivers, AD experts, primary care practitioners, and allied health professionals. The 2023 guidelines, which are based on the latest clinical evidence, sought to answer five major treatment questions. These questions and recommendations will be summarised in this study review.
Independent commentary for the review has been provided by Dr Li-Chuen Wong, a consultant dermatologist specialising in both adult and paediatric dermatology.
