Introduction to facial threadlift procedures

Description

The "Introduction to Facial Threadlift Procedures" course equips healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills to perform non-surgical threadlift procedures for facial rejuvenation. The course is divided into two detailed units:

Unit 1: History, Background, and Threadlift Overview
This unit introduces the origins and evolution of threadlift procedures, emphasising their advantages over traditional surgical facelifts. Participants will explore the role of threadlifts in repositioning sagging tissue and promoting collagen production. The session highlights the key benefits of threadlifts, such as minimal invasiveness, short procedural time, and dual-action effects (lifting and rejuvenation). It also addresses the principles of facial aging and the importance of patient-centred planning to achieve optimal aesthetic outcomes.

Unit 2: Types of Threads and Their Applications
This unit delves into the various types of threads available in Australia, including MINT, Silhouette Soft, and APTOS threads. It categorises threads by their material (absorbable or non-absorbable), shape (smooth, barbed, or coned), and length. Participants will learn the specific indications for each thread type, including lifting, collagen remodelling, and contouring. The unit covers procedural techniques such as vector planning, thread insertion, and patient counselling. Practical considerations, such as side effects, contraindications, and patient selection, are thoroughly discussed, ensuring participants can confidently perform threadlift procedures.

This course is ideal for medical professionals seeking to expand their expertise in aesthetic medicine and provide advanced, minimally invasive facial rejuvenation treatments.
