Language aspects of placedo/nocebo - Dr Andrew Watson

Description

In this seminar, Dr Andrew Watson focuses on practical clinical strategies to incorporate into a busy anaesthetic workplace. He reviews the lessons learnt from a high risk needle phobia clinic set up at the height of covid. He also examines emerging strategies exploring how memories develop after challenging medical events and the powerful effect simple conversation strategies have at the time.
