Mastering Sleep Apnoea: A Virtual Locum Masterclass for Primary Care

Description

This virtual locum masterclass aims to equip practitioners in investigating, diagnosing, and treating sleep apnoea in general practice. Participants will be guided through a patient interview conducted by a leading professional, and learn how to proactively identify at-risk patients and recognise the condition in earlier and later stages through common and subtle presentations. The program will also help practitioners to review evidence-based interventions, including CPAP and alternative treatment pathways, and individualise treatment plans that consider patient factors and preferences.

This program aims to strengthen patient-centred communication to support long-term care and treatment adherence. This CPD-accredited program will include case-based discussion and interactive polling and Q&A that encourages participant engagement and active learning, and provides practical strategies to help practitioners translate evidence into clinical action.
