This educational series provides an overview of managing chronic spontaneous urticaria and the emerging therapies such as BTK inhibitors, anti-IL-4Rα agents, or mast cell-targeted drugs which could offer personalised, biomarker-driven approaches that may improve disease control and provide remission. It also includes guiding commentary from Dr Annika Smith, a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and Consultant Dermatologist in public and private settings in Sydney.
