This Educational Review aims to provide clinicians with an overview of implementing the 2025 EAU guideline recommendations for managing uncomplicated and localised UTIs in Australia with special consideration to the use of non-antimicrobial options.

It also includes guiding commentary from Professor Eric Chung, a consultant urological surgeon at the AndroUrology Centre for Sexual, Urinary, and Reproductive Excellence and holds professorial academic appointments at the University of Queensland in Brisbane and Macquarie University Hospital in Sydney, Australia.
