• Non-scarring alopecia: Androgenetic alopecia, alopecia areata, and tinea capitis
• Scarring alopecia: Chronic cutaneous lupus erythematosus, lichen planopilaris, frontal fibrosing alopecia, and folliculitis decalvans.

The unit highlights diagnostic techniques such as dermoscopy and histological examination, providing guidance on treatment plans that may include steroids, immunomodulators, and supportive care. Practical management tips and visuals of clinical cases ensure real-world applicability.
