  • Fertility and Long-Term Care: Discussions on fertility preservation, testosterone replacement therapy, and managing long-term treatment-related complications like secondary malignancies and cardiovascular risks.

Unit 2: Male Breast Cancer
Gain comprehensive knowledge on the diagnosis and treatment of male breast cancer. Topics include:

  • Clinical Examination: Systematic techniques for breast and lymph node examinations, focusing on identifying masses, nipple abnormalities, and skin changes
  • Diagnostic and Staging Processes: Overview of imaging techniques (mammography, ultrasound), biopsies, and TNM staging
  • Treatment and Genetic Considerations: Examination of surgical options (mastectomy, sentinel lymph node biopsy), hormonal therapies like Tamoxifen, and the role of genetic testing for BRCA mutations. Discussions also cover recurrent cancer management and long-term care planning
