Eczema management in primary care

Description

Eczema presentations in primary care are common yet complex. Managing eczema involves a multifaceted approach; thorough examination and history taking, tailoring treatments to the individual, and managing patient expectations.

In this webinar, A/Prof Deshan Sebaratnam (Dermatologist) and A/Prof Stephen Barnett (GP and Medical Educator), will discuss the latest in eczema management in primary care.

 


Learning Outcomes

  1. Recognise the safety of corticosteroids in the long term management of patients with atopic dermatitis at any age
  2. Identify which patients can be managed in the primary care and which patients require specialist referral to dermatology.
