Men's Health in Primary Care Series

Description

Healthy Male brings together experts in their field to discuss men's health topics as they relate to general practice. The series covers sexual dysfunction, continence, body dysmorphic disorder, loneliness, male fertility and preconception health, sexual health screening and STIs, men and healthy aging.

 


Learning Outcomes

  1. Understanding risks factors for males in the primary care setting.
  2. Apply screening and diagnosis activities within scope of practice.
  3. Provide treatment, education and health behaviour support for male patients.
  4. Know when and how to refer to appropriate specialist services, as appropriate.
