  1. Describe the role of GPs in ensuring ESUS patients have been appropriately worked up and offered a multidisciplinary discussion regarding management
  2. Summarise the post-stroke and rehabilitation requirements of PFO-related ESUS patients
  3. List the specific requirements of patients with PFO occluders in situ in the post stroke/post intervention period
  4. Outline an approach to supporting patients’ management of medication adherence and secondary prevention measures
  5. Describe the challenges that face rural, remote and disadvantaged populations in managing ESUS and the role of GPs in coordinating their care.
